OLAC invites you to come to Oxtongue Lake, stay and explore our area and to visit our Group of Seven and Tom Thomson Outdoor Exhibit at the Oxtongue Lake Community Centre. Founded in 2012, we celebrate the art and lives of Tom Thomson, the Group of Seven and especially A.J. Casson and their connections to Oxtongue Lake. We believe it is important to highlight and celebrate the arts and artists, culture, history and heritage of Oxtongue Lake through cultural events and art experiences. Our goal is to strengthen and highlight our commitment to the protection and preservation of the natural environment and its importance to our community through the use the imagery, writings and stories of Tom Thomson, The Group of Seven and others.
